The Tattooed Lady was the catalyst for Attic Art.
Melinda grew up with her Aunt Helen having major influence in art appreciation. Aunt Helen worked in many mediums in her career including textiles and ceramics and taught Art in the Bensalem School District for 42 years.
The Tattooed Lady lived in Aunt Helen’s garage for years because of her size and nowhere to house her. She was a graduate school project from 1973, “Harvey” was her teaching partners boyfriend at the time.
The Tattooed Lady is also the cover art for 2 songs from LEV the band - check them out on Spotify https://open.spotify.com/track/40VOhMj47M9tDvEBOyOqHh?si=d3417c4b0fa44b38
